County of Santa Clara. The Office of the County Assessor is seeking individuals who may be interested in serving on Santa Clara County's Assessment Appeals Board (AAB). The AAB has the full responsibility for equitably resolving all assessment appeals. A well-respected fee firm in Chico, CA is looking for a commercial appraisal trainee intent upon working toward a Certified General Real Estate Appraisal license with 1-2 years of recent production experience, preferably under the supervision of a designated MAI. The qualified candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with ArcView GIS or general real estate experience is a plus. Programs used in the office include Microsoft Word, Excel, Paint Shop Pro and FileMaker Pro. Substantial completion of coursework toward the license is a plus. The majority of the work is in Butte County with some in Glenn and Shasta Counties.
